Although we started our walk quite high, there was more climbing.
The only hikers we met today were a Swiss couple walking in the opposite direction, an older German man in fantastic shape and two young friendly Turkish men who are camping and shared their dates (the fruit that is) with us.
Kabak beach got further and further away as we continued to climb and wind our way across the ravine.
In the middle of the afternoon a welcome stop for tea at "catchy's place", previously "bayram's place's.
There was an interesting fireplace covered in pine cones.
Bayram took a pic.
For the rest of the afternoon we stretched our legs slowly descending on on a newly surfaced country road into the the small village of Gey (it has a much longer name that I'll add later).
Our view of the coastline was changing.
We'd were welcomed by Ramazan and his gracious wife who prepared a lovely meal for us that secure Turkish style in front of a fireplace. (Photo to follow)
And were treated to helping with the honey harvest, centrifugation was involved.
