(Sept 13th) The coastal alternative route, 11k, 7 hours with a tea break and a swim and lunch break on the beach. According to my Fitbit we walked about 14.8k. The actual distance that we walk each day is a little dispute that we have, what with the guide book, the Lycian way app, Paul's daily walk descriptions, (our organizer from Amber travel that we have yet to meet) and the Fitbit each giving a different distance. Slackpacking again thank goodness due to climbs involving ropes and hands as well as feet.
The view from our room.
The start of our walk overlooking butterfly valley. The walk started with a descent, naturally...... But of course there were ascents too.
And stumbled flowering crocuses marking the first part of the walk, similar to the ones I have in my garden.
The bees are busy gathering pollen for the honey. Some serious climbing.
